Odin Sphere, anyone that loves video games and has yet to play this is missing out. I can say I did not actually get Odin Sphere until a few years ago, maybe 1 year and 6 or 7 months. After playing the game I instantly fell in love with it, its a side scroller game with amazing art. Ironically, Velvet was one of the characters that jumped out at me when I played it. I had seen this figurine available before (March 2010) and I did go as far as to place an order for it not even knowing much about it, as I had not played the game yet. Sadly there was some confliction with my wallet and lack of funds so I was unable to get her at that time. Although she was re-released again in August of the same year and this time I had played the game and knew I had to have her. The wife agreed and so here we are!
Oh Yuki, this is one of the most plain yet best figurine ever. Oh wait, I’m a raging Yuki Fanboi I’m probably not the sort of person that should do a review of a Yuki figurine… But since Dinara isn’t here mwhahahaaha.
I am finally going to review a One Piece figurine. Seems like the right thing to do considering how Dinara and I are rabid One Piece fans…well more so her then I. Let’s talk about the basics of this figurine. As with most of the One Piece figurines, this is a Megahouse figurine. Its original release date was December 2010, Dinara and I picked up the restock of this figurine, honestly no freaking idea how we missed the original… but whatever. We purchased this figurine from Hobby Search for 5,400 yen. The figurine is roughly 170mm tall.
Tales of Vesperia is a game for the Xbox 360 and PS3. This game from my understanding was quite well received and I personally loved it. Me and my roommate played this game for hours and hours on end and the most striking thing about this game in my opinion was the main character. Yuri Lowell was an amazing character from the get go, he was laid back and just had the cool guy attitude. Later on in the series he murders someone in cold blood which raised my eyebrows. I was used to the usual JRPG main characters who cry and are always scared of everything, yet here, i had now watched Yuri murder someone. This made an impact on me, I knew this game was epic and I knew this character was bad ass. When I saw a figurine of him, I had to have it, I clearly had a man crush on Yuri Lowell.
