This week is going to be a double feature review of one of my favorite figurines, Kanata and Konata from the anime Lucky Star. This figurine was made by Wave, as was a lot of the Lucky Star figurines. I got this figurine… or i should say this combi-pack of figurines from a good friend of mine Micheal. He was down in the USA and sent me a random text saying he was in a figurine store and it made him think of me. He asked if I would like him to get one for me, of course the answer was yes, he took a few pictures of them and I froze the instant I saw Kanata/Konata. It was expensive,I believe it cost me $130 CAD. I suppose that is not that bad for 2 figurines however they are so small.

Aisaka Taiga Tiger Costume Ver. – Ques Q – Toradora – 1/8 PVC Figure
The figurine I wanted to review has some… issues, I had ordered a resin kit from a company that pre-paints and assembles <mostly> your resin kit for you and when it arrived I was sorely disappointed. It was going to be my review last week but I was depressed because I have a poor quality figurine so I couldn’t even bring myself to write anything. Hopefully I can get this rectified if not I’ll let you guys know. The figurine was Rin from Fate Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works hopefully I can get a review for it made … But instead here’s Taiga!

So even though Bloodfrost said that we would be reviewing our new Tohsaka Rin figure this week we unfortunately have issues with her and have to send her back to be replaced. So this week instead I am reviewing the Good Smile Company’s cute 1/8th scale rendition of Hiyori Pixy from the hentai game Chu x Chu Idol! Ika Musume Kotobukiya Ver 1/8 PVC Figure
Oh my gawd, what a good month for figurines this is for us, we get Ika Musume, Black Hanekawa, Hachikuji Mayoi, Rayleigh and Rin from Fate Stay Night. My Rin figurine will be reviewed REALLY soon but first we have to do Ika Musume because she’s just so damn cute. As a quick side note, she is still available at Hobby Search if you go there right now for $81. As for November 4th at least, please no hate mail if she isn’t available when you try later.
