Bakemonogatari and I have a bit of a love/hate relationship. I really did enjoy the first season but Nisemono was really… lacking to me, to be fair I never did finish it however but to me, that just morso means how much I didn’t enjoy it. Dani is always saying she wants to finish it but the series kinda fell into the whole over the top ecchi kinda stuff to me…. Not that I don’t like that kinda stuff? I just did not enjoy it in this series all that much.

Good Smile Company – Bakemonogatari – Hachikuji Mayoi – 1/8 PVC Figure
As it suddenly occurs to me that its 8:25 PM on a Friday night and without my wife’s constant nattering I have not written a review today. We prided ourselves on really not missing any reviews or at least some form of interesting content but today, we are going to have to make due with less text and more pretty pictures of a figurine that I enjoy.

Bakemonogatari – Kanbaru Suruga – Good Smile Company – 1/8 PVC Figure
Another Bakemonogatari figurine here for me to review. My wife and I have a few of these, in fact we have all of them except for Araragi at least on order. We are anxiously waiting for a release of him in non crappy figma form. This is Kanbaru Suraga made by the Good Smile company, I am unsure of the actual release date, although Hobby Search shows it as late July 2011. We purchased this figurine from Hobby Search in restock for $110.

Bakemonogatari – Hanekawa Tsubasa – Good Smile Company -1/8 PVC Figure
Hanekawa Tsubasa from Bakemonogatari, as previously said in some of my reviews, this was an amazing anime that developed amazingly as the anime progressed. I was not a fan of this anime from the first 3 episodes but afterwards it had me by the balls. I must say, this is one of the lesser females from the anime, I suppose I feel this way because she was one of the typical quiet characters from the anime and her counterpart when she turns into the feline is so unlike her I see it as a completely different character.

Good Smile Bakemonogatari Senjougahara Hitagi 1/8 PVC Figurine
Bakemonogatari was a strange anime for me, the first 3 episodes did not impress me at all, I’m used to watching anime with that odd style, like EF A Tale of Memories, but for some reason this one didn’t grab me and it got put on my hold list. Recently me and my wife re-visited it and I have no idea what the hell was wrong with me. MOST of the characters were done extremely well, they had good depth with the exception of a few, all in all this anime was placed high on my list of recommendations to others.
