It’s a double feature today! YAY! Our two totally delicious loli cat girls from Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai…. Well I suppose they’re not always cat girls… but in this instance they are! What better form could you have for a figurine. Figurine was sculpted by YOSHI, who has done a few of the figurines we own, he has done my favorite Kuroneko figurine hehe and one of the Nia Teppilin figurines we have as well.
With the nice weather that we have had in our fair city the past few days, it kind of got me in the mood for taking a look at one of our many many many bikini figurines. I decided that we should showcase this one this week mostly because I was under the impression that we had already done her. Seena from Shining Wind. A series that we do have a few figurines from but admittedly I know nothing of, even after doing a small amount of research. I was going to comment about how this style looks a lot like Tony Taka’s artwork… until I looked it up and realized that it is in fact his work.
Oh man, I thought there was going to be a fist fight over this figurine between my wife and I. I wanted it, she said we couldn’t afford it, I used points at Hobby Search and then she was still not happy. I saw that it was by Max Factory and the detail on it and decided I had to have it. She apparently did not care… But we got it and here it is!
FOOLISH MORTALS!! WHY HAVE YOU NOT BOUGHT THIS!?… oh… oh you did?…. oh… oh good then! …continue reading «Max Factory – Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day – Honma Meiko Swimsuit ver – 1/7 PVC Figure»
It has come to my attention that I have been reviewing figurines that I seem to only really really like as of recently. So with that in mind… Here’s one of my current favorite figurines =D.
Hey everyone!! So these two crazy people asked me to do a guest review for their site as they’re moving this week. I was going to do the scratch’n'sniff Strawberry Shortcake… but… something about that felt too dirty for a public forum. So here’s the next best thing… Samus! …continue reading «Metroid: Other M – Samus Aran – Figma #133 – Max Factory»
As you all know we recently came back from Japan. And of course, being that we are huge massive otakus, we brought back a good amount of figures and anime goods from our trip.
Hatsune Miku, almost a household name, I’m sure I could go to my dad right now and ask him if he’s heard of it and he might even know it…. Who are we kidding there’s no way he would know but you get the point at least. One of her current songs even made No.1 on the iTunes list. She is everywhere and for this, I hate her. I am a contrarian by nature, anything that’s massively popular without even trying I will start to loath it. However for some reason Miku is almost immune to this effect for me.
As a my first figure review I will apologize for everything. haha. I shall be doing all the figurines my husband Bloodfrost doesn’t want to do. Which is pretty much reviewing any figures he doesn’t know about, and any ero figurines that will make him look to much like a raging Loli-con. Fortunately for you guys I have no qualms about either of these things!
I had told myself a long time ago that I was done with your typical harem animes and this one was no exception to me… or so I thought. Even as I diligently skipped over it knowing what it was going to be, one day I came home to see my wife was watching it and loving it, while I was working she was watching it and I only caught glimpses but I was instantly hooked. The main character was your typical poor bastard surrounded by girls but this did have a little bit more of a twist. One of the things that stood out to me is that he was voiced by the same person who does Lelouch from Code Geass and every so often some of Lelouch would slip into his mannerisms and I could not help but laugh.
