Ahh, forever dubbed the figurine that got away… NO MORE! Much to my wife’s disapproval I finally got this figurine. When it first came out, I think we were short on cash and I just didn’t pick it up, to which I regretted almost instantly. While this figurine does have relatively large breasts which is not my style, she does have sexy sexy mid-drift action going on. Also her super excitable character made her someone I wanted in our collection. We were able to get it during Hobby Link Japan’s Yamato figure sale for a good price.

Evangelion Shin Gekijouban – Makinami Mari- Yamato – PVC Figure
Well we decided to do Mari this week because she isn’t getting a lot of love currently I don’t think. Our friend Brent whom we went to Japan with or I should say met with in Japan was obsessed with this character, personally I have no idea who the fuck she is because I have not watched anything past the first part of the movie. I want to watch it all back to back so I’m not waiting for any awesomeness and goodness.

This is one of this figurines I bought before I even met my wife, I was in a phase where I would buy almost anything that I thought looked even decently good. I don’t regret getting this figurine but its never been a favourite in my collection. Personally I don’t even know what she is from or anything even remotely like that, didn’t care at the time haha.

Odin Sphere – Velvet – 1/6 PVC Figure – Yamato
Odin Sphere, anyone that loves video games and has yet to play this is missing out. I can say I did not actually get Odin Sphere until a few years ago, maybe 1 year and 6 or 7 months. After playing the game I instantly fell in love with it, its a side scroller game with amazing art. Ironically, Velvet was one of the characters that jumped out at me when I played it. I had seen this figurine available before (March 2010) and I did go as far as to place an order for it not even knowing much about it, as I had not played the game yet. Sadly there was some confliction with my wallet and lack of funds so I was unable to get her at that time. Although she was re-released again in August of the same year and this time I had played the game and knew I had to have her. The wife agreed and so here we are!
